Conditioning Exercises to Improve Your Belly Dance Practice

Conditioning exercises are not just for injury prevention. They have direct application in belly dance technique. 👉 For instance, last week I chose three technique drills as suggested weekly training for the club members.

1️⃣ The first drill was entirely based on ‘regular’ fitness exercises to target abs and obliques.

2️⃣ The second was about training obliques but with dance-like moves

3️⃣ And finally, the third one was about direct application of obliques in belly dance technique.

Iana Komarnytska is a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, and passionate content creator helping dancers navigate their dance lives.
