Feel Calm On Stage

Everyone is different and unique. Everyone’s body is different, and everyone’s mind is individual. Just the same way as learning patterns are different for each person.

And when it comes to such a sensitive topic as conquering performance anxiety, there is definitely no such thing as ONE-ANSWER for all. Each person, each dancer will need their own tools.

That’s why I keep approaching this topic in so many various and sometimes strange ways.

➡️ During our Mejance Intensive we’ve played with the idea of creating characters in dance.

➡️ During our Tarab intensive I gave you a bunch of references from movie scenes.

➡️ During the Power of Imagination intensive I offered a series of writing exercises combined with physical practices, meditations, and game-like routines.

➡️ During the Archetypes of Egyptian Goddesses, we used mythology and stories to help us feel more confident, calm and in-control on stage.

AND NOW

➡️ We are hosting our first online HAFLA at the Iana Dance Club, to give opportunities for dancers to gain more performance experience in a friendly and supportive environment! (More details at the Iana Dance Club and the link in my bio.)

Remember: although there is no way to fully get rid of performance nerves and anxiety, there IS A WAY to transform them into excitement and enhance your dance. Make them be your friends, not enemies.🤗

YOU JUST NEED TO FIND RIGHT TOOLS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO PRACTICE!❤️❤️❤️
